Been thinking about how animals and humans imitate other things in nature. It popped into my brain when I found this leaf on the screened-in-porch:

But it’s not a leaf at all. It’s some kind of moth or something.

(S)He looks so poised here:

It reminds me of some military vehicle. It looks like it is armored. And it has good camouflage.

V-22 Osprey Aircraft (Mom thought it looked like an Osprey)

After a little research, I’ve come to the conclusion that it is a moth of the Smerinthus genus. A Hawk Moth.
