In the fall of 2015, it became apparent to me that a piece of loose leaf paper is, in fact, a loom. The blue lines waiting for text are actually warp waiting for weft. Though the basic elements of loose leaf paper are fixed, the possibilities for conversation, storytelling, and aphorisms are endless. These are a few pages and aphorisms on/of loose leaf paper.
These pages and aphorisms were part of a site-specific exhibition called “Play the Radio” at the WVTF/Radio IQ Gallery and a solo exhibition called “Pages and Envelopes” at WriterHouse in Charlottesville, Virginia.
